Mayfield Lavender Farm is a very beautiful place to visit during the summer time!
The farm is a popular visitor attraction throughout summer where you can wander through a sea of beautiful organic lavender.  The lavender normally starts to bloom towards the middle to end of June and the peak time is July and August however the weather can influence this.

The farm is open from  June 1 to August 31

Entrance costs £2 per adult. 

Children 16 and  under are free.

Polesden Lacey. A fabulous house and gardens.
WPolesden Lacey’s 1400 acre estate is a wonderfully diverse place to explore – from grazed fields to ancient woodland to beautiful viewpoints, there is always something to see.
Polesden Lacy is a Regency house transformed into a superb Edwardian mansion by brewery heiress Mrs Ronald Greville.
A glittering array of formal rooms are decorated with fabulous portraits including works by Raeburn and Reynolds.
Set within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Polesden Lacey was the weekend party house of incomparable socialite Margaret Greville.
Discover world-renowned collections of Fabergé, maiolica and Dutch Old Masters in the 19th-century house, along with changing themes exploring Margaret’s lavish parties, and life in service.
 The future King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother spent their first part of their 1923 honeymoon relaxing in the Surrey Hills.The formal gardens offer colour and fragrance throughout the year, from the walled rose garden in the summer to the Graham Stuart Thomas-designed winter garden during colder months.
Boasting colourful views that change with every season, the wider estate is also home to a vast array of wildlife including bats and butterflies.
