The chapel serves as the final resting place for ten rulers, including VIII. Henry and his third wife, Jane Seymour, and In September 2022, Queen Elizabeth II and her husband Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh were also laid to rest here.. St. George's Chapel holds great importance for the royal family, as it was the site of Prince Harry's baptism, the wedding of Prince Charles and Camilla, and the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

Visitors can also witness the changing of the guard, a tradition that dates back to the 17th century and still takes place regularly in the castle and in front of the castle. This ceremonial event is a true spectacle, with soldiers dressed in full regalia marching to the beat of a drum.
